Man United coach Darren Fletcher has been handed a three-match ban and £7,500 fine for misconduct after his furious half-time rant at officials against Brentford last month.
With the game goalless heading into first-half stoppage time, referee Samuel Barrott forced Matthijs de Ligt off the pitch to receive treatment for a head wound that was bleeding profusely.
With the Dutch defender on the sidelines, Brentford took the lead through an Ethan Pinnock header causing chaos in the technical area.
Both Erik ten Hag and his assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy were booked for their reactions on the touchline, while an animated Fletcher could be seen angrily protesting the decision as both teams left the pitch for half time.
The incensed Scotsman continued to express his disapproval of the decision to both Barrott and fourth official Gavin Ward inside the tunnel, with the FA now ruling that that Fletcher must serve a three-game suspension.

The incident occurred after Matthijs de Ligt was forced to leave the pitch to receive treatment, before Brentford scored the opening goal of the match just moments afterwards.
In a statement they said: 'The FA alleged that the coach acted in an improper and/or confrontational manner and/or that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official and the referee and/or assistant referees around the tunnel area at half time.
Darren Fletcher admitted to this misconduct but denied that he was abusive. However, the Regulatory Commission found this to be proven and imposed his sanctions.
The Regulatory Commission’s written reasons for its decisions will be published in due course'.
This also means that incoming boss Ruben Amorim will be without the coach for the opening two matches of his tenure - ahead of his arrival after the international break.
Despite falling behind just before the interval, United responded well in the second half with goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund sealing just the club's third Premier League win of the season.
