According to the Commission, the Final Voters Register was certified on Friday, 1st November 2024, and, by law, the Commission has 21 days to provide copies of the register to the parties and any other relevant persons.
The Electoral Commission is legally mandated to make copies of the Voters Register available to registered political parties within 21 days of certification. This requirement is outlined under Sub-Regulation 4 of Regulation 27 of Constitutional Instrument (C.I.) 91 (as amended by C.I. 126). Sub-Regulation 4 states:
“The Commission shall make available a certified copy of the register to the registered political parties and any other person that the Commission considers necessary not later than twenty-one days after the register has been certified.”
