Asante Kotoko to play Division One Side In MTN FA Cup
The match is set to be played at the home ground of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as they would come up against Akamu future Stars between the dates of 29 November to somewhere around 2nd December.
The official dates would be communicated very soon.
Below is a lovely recap of their last game.
Benab FC made it three wins in our opening three games following a superb win over Jonnboe FC at the Alignment Astro on Sunday.
Jonnboe FC took the lead early on, but that did not put the 'Everything By God' off of their game.
Benab put five past the Jonnboe defence, with goals coming from Aziz, Mugis, Narbi and Prince.
The hosts after bright start took the lead of the game around five minutes after kick off, with a mix up at the back leading to an unfortunate goal.
Benab responded very well after going down by dictating the pace of the game. Aziz was taken down just inside the box, to give us a chance to level the scoring in the 21st minute.
Aziz stepped up to take the spot kick, and made no mistake as he powered the ball into the back of the net to put things back on level terms.
The visitors despite having less of the ball restored their lead few minutes to the break with a nice finish in the penalty box.
But Mugis will put us back on level terms again two minutes after going down with a powerful strike in the penalty box.
The second half was more lively as we went all out to take the lead.
Our pressure paid off on the 63rd minute after Aziz calmly sloted home a pass from Danger to give us the lead for the first time in the game.
Substitute Narbi Joseph made it 4-2 few minutes later following a swift counter that saw him outwits two markers before finishing home from close.
The scoring didn’t end there as Prince slotted home our fifth following a pass from Gilbert to register his first goal of the campaign.
With this impressive win, Benab now sit proudly at the top of the league and will look to maintain our position in the upcoming fixture when we face Lake City on match day four.
