Former Asante Kotoko player and coach, Michael Osei ‘Micky’ has reportedly died mid-day in London as it has been reported.
Rest well legend.
He played and coached Asante Kotoko, Bibiani Goldstars and Unistar Academy.
He would be missed for how he had always carried himself.
They don't understand why Kotoko keeps beating them anytime the two teams meet therefore, they have taken delight in propagating untruth and palpable falsehoods ahead of any game that we are about to honour just to kill the vibe around it. They did similar thing last season and have started another failed exercise.
Quite surprisingly, we all know how the Accra based club survived relegation at the death of last season after engaging in a highly probably bargained match vs Bechem United to win.
A couple of their matches last season lacked some competitive touch and that's why they were able to get the results needed to survive. The GFA and the Media went quiet because they didn't wanna see such an old club play in Division one so everyone pretended not to have seen those deliberate uncompetitive exchanges on the pitch that aided their survival.
These unrepented fans tagged almost all of Kotoko's matches last season as likely to be manipulated but the eventual results proved otherwise as Kotoko lost in all the matches they thought were gonna be played soft by our opponents.
Sadly, they rather did what they were thinking Kotoko will do as several video evidences exist particularly in their match vs Bechem United where the home team players were even assisting them to score by running away from balls coming into their goalpost.
I wanna believe these people are probably immune to shame else their guilty consciences alone should shy them away from talking about any likely match of convenience because they have become a hardcore reference point in that regard.
Regrettably, some of them have started making similar allegations they raised last season when we were about to meet Nations FC.
