Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is highly confident that the people of Ghana will make the best decision in the impending presidential elections this December 7, 2024. At a recent rally in Kumasi, Bawumia, in his address, emphasized the importance of the elections, describing the process as one that would decide the fate of the future.

Addressing thousands of enthusiastic supporters, the Vice President told them that Ghana's democratic process has been one of stability and continuous improvement on the African continent. He called upon all eligible Ghanaian citizens to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections and assured them that their voice would be heard.

Bawumia, vice presidential candidate to the New Patriotic Party's presidential candidate, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was of the view that the huge strides the government has made in the educational sector, infrastructure development, and digitalization, among others, are so vital. He also outlined the NPP's commitment toward job creation, improvement in livelihoods, and how to sustain Ghana's economic growth amidst global challenges.

"The NPP government has shown leadership in difficult times; we have implemented policies that have positively impacted the lives of Ghanaians, and we are confident that the good people of Ghana will recognize these achievements and make the right choice," Bawumia said. He further encouraged the electorate to reject divisions and vote for continuity and progress, ensuring that Ghana continues on the path of development.

These words by the Vice President engendered applause from the supporters who were hopeful for the future under another term of governance by the NPP. Bawumia's campaign has largely fronted the successes of the Akufo-Addo administration, particularly in areas of infrastructure development and innovations in the digital space.

With the election date getting closer, Bawumia remains very confident in the electorate. He concluded his speech, in the light of unity and peaceful participation in the democratic process, that the ultimate decision was to be left to the people: "Together, we will continue to build a better Ghana for all," he affirmed.
