Arsenal will not be offered a cut-price deal if they make a 2025 transfer move for West Ham United star Mohamed Kudus.
The Gunners have been linked with a potential swoop for the Ghana international if Leandro Trossard heads to the Saudi Pro League in 2025.
Mikel Arteta is keen to balance his squad, and a move for Kudus is likely to be balanced against a first-team exit, if Trossard pushes for an exit.
Arteta was linked with a move for Kudus, before his 2023 move to the London Stadium from Ajax, and he impressed in his debut Premier League campaign, with eight goals in EPL action and 14 in all competitions.
Any potential offer is expected to be delayed until the summer, with Arteta not keen on major changes in January, but the Spanish boss will be quoted a bumper price.
Mohammed Kudus release clause Feedback.
Reports from the Daily Mail indicate West Ham will not accept anything less than the 24-year-old's rumoured £85m ($107m) release clause which will present Arsenal with a key decision to make.
However, Trossard's possible departure could provide a significant chunk of the money needed for Kudus, with Al-Ittihad rumoured to be ready with an opening £40m ($52m) offer for the Belgian
Kudus' current contract runs until 2028 - plus the option for an extra 12 months - and Julen Lopetegui is under no pressure to sell, particularly with Declan Rice's move across London still fresh in the minds of West Ham fans.
