25-Year-Old Lucille Crowned Miss Malaika Ghana Glow-Up Queen
The La Palm Royal Beach Hotel came alive with excitement last night as 25-year-old Lucille Naa Kwaley King was crowned the Miss Malaika Ghana Glow Up Queen 2024. A graduate of the University of Birmingham, freelance model, and YouTuber, Lucille triumphed over nine other contestants to claim the prestigious title, with tears of joy streaming down her face as she celebrated her victory.
In this year’s highly competitive edition of Miss Malaika Ghana, Lucille emerged as the standout contestant from the start. Her exceptional presentation skills, remarkable talent display, and consistent excellence in various segments of the competition earned her the admiration of both judges and the audience. Throughout the contest, Lucille won several accolades, reinforcing her status as the frontrunner.
Marie and Cherise secured second and third place, respectively, while Delphine and Whitney completed the top five finalists. However, it was Lucille who shone brightest, particularly during the final round of the competition. Her eloquent, confident responses to the judges' questions impressed the panel, earning her the highest score of the night. Lucille’s composure and articulate answers were key to her securing the coveted title.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Lucille described her win as “a dream come true,” expressing deep gratitude to her supporters and pledging to use her new platform for positive social change. She also shared her excitement about representing young women and empowering others through her newfound position.
Lucille takes over the title from Lady Nana Yaa, last year’s winner, and will continue the tradition of using the Miss Malaika Ghana platform to highlight the potential, talents, and intelligence of young women. Organized by Charterhouse, Miss Malaika Ghana has long been a celebrated event that uplifts women by providing them with opportunities to showcase their strengths and make meaningful impacts in their communities.
With Lucille's win, the legacy of Miss Malaika Ghana continues to inspire and empower young women across the country. As the new queen, she is poised to be a role model for many, using her influence to advocate for positive change and motivate others to chase their dreams.
