Ghana as a country has an increasing number of students who would like to purseu higher education outside the country, Europe and America preferably. High school and University graduates who are aiming to bag their degree and masters respectively, are hindered majorly by the application fees they'd have to pay for each institution they apply to. Applying is just the first step and if that hurdle can't be crossed what hope is left for a prospective student who wants to study abroad.
As a Ghanaian freelancer, i'm made a compilation of some universities in the United Kingdom and The United States of America who have no application fee or offer a waiver for international student who meet certain criteria.
Also, it is important to note that, as an applicant, you should have some documents ready before you start your application. Some of which include; a valid Ghanaian passport, A high school transcript, a university transcript, bank statement and a good Statement of Purpose(SOP). A test score may be relevenat depending on the school. some may require it others may not. regardless, it's worth to have some test score in english proficiency such as SAT, GRE, IELTS, etc.
Even though you may believe that studying abroad is challenging, you can still fulfill your aspirations. Follow the appropriate avenues and professionals who can help you achieve your objective.
