Haha! I would watch PONO over Black Stars Match- Kumchacha

Prophet Kumchacha, a self-proclaimed Public Relations Officer (PRO) for all pastors in Ghana, recently made a controversial statement during an appearance on Angel FM's "Okatakyie Afrifa" show that has sparked a storm of reactions. In the interview, Kumchacha declared that he would rather watch a pornographic movie than sit through a Ghana Black Stars football match. His surprising comment has ignited a heated debate on social media and among listeners, with many questioning his reasoning and whether the outspoken pastor was serious.

The man of God explained his choice by stating that watching a Black Stars match could be detrimental to one’s health, as it might lead to high blood pressure (BP) due to the frustration and disappointment that often accompany the team's performances. He went on to subtly criticize the Black Stars, suggesting that the team has been underperforming and has nothing "good" to offer in terms of results, which is why they continue to lose matches. His statement seemed to be a jab at the team's lack of success on the international stage, especially given their recent struggles in major tournaments.

Kumchacha further emphasized that he has "no shock absorbers" for the emotional toll that watching the Black Stars brings, implying that he prefers to avoid the stress and frustration altogether. Instead, he openly admitted that he would opt to watch a pornographic movie, which he claimed would be less emotionally taxing for him than following the team’s disappointing football matches.

The host of the show, Okatakyie Afrifa, along with other panelists, appeared taken aback by Kumchacha’s bold statement, initially thinking that he was speaking in jest. However, the controversial pastor insisted that he was serious, leaving the panel and listeners stunned. His unapologetic stance on the matter has since generated significant buzz, with many questioning his priorities and wondering whether his comment was an attempt to garner attention or a genuine reflection of his views on both the Black Stars and the broader cultural issues surrounding sports in Ghana.
