Joao Cancelo has uncovered his actual sentiments on life in the Saudi Star Association in the wake of finishing his late spring move from Manchester City.

The Portugal right-back, 30, passed on the Etihad Arena in the mid year to join Al Hilal for an expense of £21 million.

He had spent the past season borrowed at Barcelona in the wake of being frozen out by Christiano Ronaldo aggressive appearance in English football was in the 2-1 loss to Manchester Joined in January 2023.

Since showing up in Saudi, Cancelo has begun all bar one game for his new club, with his colleagues including Neymar, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly.

Al Hilal are top of the Saudi Star Association in the wake of winning nine and drawing one of their initial 10 rounds of the new season.

He answered: "I think it [criticism of the association's standard] is a legend, since I generally accepted that the Saudi Ace Association is more vulnerable than it is.

"I think the power... the best players are as yet playing in Europe, yes. Yet, the Saudi Genius Association is a title which is developing year-on-year. He said.

"More and better players are showing up there. The power is expanding."

No matter what his ongoing circumstance, Cancelo will most likely be happy to have continued on from City, given his remarks while still contracted to the club in Spring.

Currently qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Countries Association, Croatia and Portugal will go head to head this Friday (eighteenth) at 16:45 (Brasilia time) at the Poljud Arena in Split for the last match of the gathering stage.

Joao Cancelo insists the 'intensity' of the Saudi Pro League is 'evolving', with the Al-Hilal defender left surprised since his transfer from Manchester City. Speaking before Portugal's UEFA Nations League clash with Croatia, Cancelo says he was wrong about the relative weakness of the Middle Eastern competition.
