Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has shed light on the roots of her long- standing feud with actress Efia Odo, tracing it back to a performance she shared with Shatta Wale in London several years ago. Speaking on the Girls Aloud podcast hosted by Kofas Media, Sista Afia recounted the events that sparked their bitter rivalry. 
 
According to the singer, after her performance in London, Efia Odo took to Snapchat to post a picture of Sista Afia and fellow artist Eno Barony, circling her in the image and making a disparaging comment about the availability of stylists in Ghana. Sista Afia clarified that the issue wasn' t about her outfit but was tied to her collaboration with Shatta Wale. 
The remark deeply offended Sista Afia, prompting her to confront Shatta Wale about Efia Odo' s behavior. However, the musician advised her to let it go and avoid engaging in unnecessary drama. Despite his advice, Sista Afia admitted, " I was really upset, and I almost beat her. " 
 
Although their public dispute escalated over the years, Sista Afia revealed she doesn' t hold grudges when it comes to online conflicts. Reflecting on some of the harsh words exchanged during their feud, she expressed regret for once labeling Efia Odo as an " industry machine. 
" She acknowledged that the comment was demeaning and inconsistent with her true character. " Looking back, I wish I hadn' t said it. That' s not who I am, and I apologize to her, " she said. 
Sista Afia' s candid account of the incident provides a glimpse into the dynamics of celebrity feuds, often fueled by misunderstandings and heightened emotions. While she appears to have moved past the altercation, her admission of regret and apology suggests a willingness to mend bridges. 
For now, fans can only speculate on whether Efia Odo will respond, as the two remain prominent figures in Ghana' s entertainment industry. Their shared history with Shatta Wale adds an intriguing layer to their story, leaving many curious about what lies ahead for their relationship.
