The Portuguese manager is reportedly keen to reunite with Porro, who thrived under him at Sporting Lisbon, as he prepares to reshape United’s squad for his preferred 3-4-3 system.
Pedro Porro to Man United?
According to reports (via AS), Porro’s agent is “convinced” that Amorim will push to bring the Spanish right-back to Manchester.
Porro was a standout performer for Amorim at Sporting, where he recorded 12 goals and 20 assists in 98 games. His attacking prowess could make him a perfect fit for Amorim’s system.
Tottenham, however, value Porro at a hefty €70m (£58m).
While a deal may be complicated, the defender could push for a transfer next summer.

Amorim is also said to be targeting a new left-sided wing-back.
Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies tops the wishlist, but Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri are also options.
