If Cain and Abel were the only children of Adam and Eve, how then did Humans populate the eartht?

According to the biblical account in Genesis, Cain and Abel were indeed the first two sons of Adam and Eve. However, the Bible also mentions that Adam and Eve had other children beyond Cain and Abel.

In Genesis 5:4, it is written: "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." This verse indicates that Adam and Eve had multiple children, including sons and daughters beyond Cain, Abel, and Seth.

Seth, who is mentioned in Genesis 4:25-26, is believed to be the third son of Adam and Eve. The Bible does not provide a comprehensive list of all the children of Adam and Eve, but it is clear that they had a large family.

As for how humans populated the earth, the biblical account suggests that the earth was populated through the descendants of Adam and Eve.

So Did The Early People  Practiced Incest To Populate The Earth?

According to the biblical account, the early descendants of Adam and Eve did indeed intermarry among themselves. Since Adam and Eve were the only humans created by God, their children would have had to marry each other in order to produce offspring.

The Bible does not explicitly address the issue of incest in the early generations of humanity. However, it is worth noting that the concept of incest as we understand it today did not exist in the same way in ancient cultures.

In biblical times, marriage between close relatives was not uncommon, and it was not until later, in the book of Leviticus (18:6-18 and 20:11-21), that laws prohibiting incestuous relationships were established.

It's also important to note that the biblical account is not primarily concerned with providing a detailed explanation of the mechanics of population growth, but rather with conveying theological and moral truths.

From a scientific perspective, the idea of a single pair of humans giving rise to the entire human population is not supported by genetic evidence. Modern genetics suggests that the human population originated from a larger group of individuals, rather than a single pair.

In summary, while Cain and Abel were the first two sons of Adam and Eve, the Bible indicates that Adam and Eve had many other children, who went on to populate the earth.
