WONTUMI FM'S OHENEBA ASIEDU GRANTED BAIL

The Ghana Police Service has granted bail to Oheneba Nana Asiedu, a radio and television broadcaster located in Kumasi, after his arrest on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Charges of disseminating false information led to his arrested.


On Friday, November 22, 2024, the Ashanti Regional Police Command extended an invitation to Oheneba. Allegations that he urged voters to vote for presidential candidates on different days during the general elections scheduled for December led to his arrest.
