According to reports, Asante Kotoko's Interim Management Committee (IMC) has given head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum the task of producing results in the team's next three Ghana Premier League games.
After going five games without a win, the Porcupine Warriors upset the Aduana Stars at Nana Agyemang Badu Park over the weekend to get back to winning ways.
Despite the victory, the head coach is still being closely watched because of the team's difficulties this season.
Ogum was able to concentrate entirely on his coaching duties after being released from his duties as a member of the club's Interim Management Committee.
As Kotoko navigates a difficult season, the Manhyia Palace and His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II approved the choice.
However, the Committee has given Ogum a difficult assignment at Kotoko: to win seven of the nine points that can be earned in the next three Ghana Premier League games.
On matchday 13 of the Premier League, Asante Kotoko will play their bitter rivals Hearts of Oak. They will play Dreams FC and Bibiani Goldstars two weeks later, respectively.
With 18 points from 12 games, the Porcupine Warriors are ranked seventh in the Ghana Premier League rankings.
