Robert Lewandowski marked a significant achievement in his career, becoming the third player to score 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League during Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Stade Brestois. The 36-year-old Polish striker joined Cristiano Ronaldo (141 goals) and Lionel Messi (129 goals) in the exclusive club, cementing his place among the competition’s all-time greats. Lewandowski reached the milestone in the 10th minute, converting a penalty after Brest's goalkeeper, Marco Bizot, fouled him inside the box. This goal set the tone for Barcelona's commanding performance, where they enjoyed 77% possession and kept Brest from registering a single shot on target.

The match saw a second goal from Barcelona, this time from Dani Olmo, who netted his first-ever Champions League goal for the club. Olmo showcased impressive footwork, evading Brest defender Brendan Chardonnet with a deft first touch before calmly sliding the ball past Bizot to double Barcelona's lead. Lewandowski soon added to the scoreline, securing his 101st Champions League goal. After a clever spin in the box, he calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, ensuring his side’s dominance. While Barcelona controlled the game and limited Brest's offensive opportunities, they also had moments of excitement in attack, with Olmo coming close to scoring again in the second half. However, Chardonnet made a crucial clearance off the line to prevent a third goal.

Despite Barcelona’s impressive display, Brest had a brief moment of hope when Mathias Pereira Lage scored, but the effort was ruled offside, denying them any meaningful comeback. In the closing stages, Barcelona substitute Pablo Torre could have further extended the lead, but his attempt was skewed wide of the post. Barcelona's 3-0 win propelled them to second place in their Champions League group, with four wins from five matches. Meanwhile, Brest remained in eighth position, struggling to get a result from their tough campaign. This victory further highlighted Barcelona’s strength and Lewandowski’s pivotal role in their successful European journey this season.
