Hafiz Ibrahim, a midfielder for Attram De Visser, is currently in talks with Asante Kotoko about a possible transfer during the upcoming January transfer window.
Hafiz Ibrahim has become a top target for the Porcupine Warriors as they try to bolster their roster for the second half of the Ghana Premier League season.
As Kotoko looks to bolster their roster overall, the gifted midfielder, who has drawn attention with his performances for Attram De Visser, is viewed as a valuable addition.
Hafiz, who last month played for Kotoko in a friendly match against DC United in the US, made an impression with his experience abroad and strong play in the home league. The Kumasi-based team is looking to expand their midfield options, and his performances have made him an appealing alternative.
The defensive midfielder, who was born in Atebubu, has further cemented his rising reputation by being included in the 32-player roster that Black Galaxies head coach Didi Dramani has chosen for screening ahead of the next international games.
With 18 points from 12 games, Asante Kotoko is presently ranked seventh in the Ghana Premier League rankings. They are keen to add players to their roster in the upcoming season to aim for a higher league position and increase their chances of winning the championship.
