Renowned legal practitioner and former Division One League Board Chairman, Lawyer Kwame Ntow Fianko, has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ethics Committee to thoroughly investigate allegations leveled against the GFA President, Kurt Okraku. Speaking on Angel 102.9 FM, Lawyer Ntow Fianko emphasized the importance of accountability in leadership and the need to uphold the integrity of Ghanaian football.
“The allegations against GFA President Kurt Okraku are a serious matter, and the Ethics Committee must know that no one is above the law,” he stated. “The president must be investigated to prove his innocence regarding the allegations made by the young boy, Najeed Yakubu.”
The allegations in question stem from claims made by Najeed Yakubu, a young Ghanaian footballer, suggesting that Kurt Okraku has engaged in unethical practices. While specific details of the accusations remain unclear, they have sparked widespread discussion in the football fraternity.
