It's sad to note that Ghana Black Stars have slipped 4 places to 77th in the latest Coca Cola Fifa World Rankings after they failed to make it to the AFCON fin the first time in twenty years, and also with the recent poor performances.
They are now 14th on the African rankings, Ghana has been dipping since the last world cup, after they fell out of the first 10, it now looks sad because the only place or situation that would elevate them is the upcoming world cup qualifiers in the month of March next year. It's now a big task that has been placed on the coach who looks like won't be sacked. He has to send Ghana to the tournament that would be hosted in North America.Otto Addo has the backing of the Ghana football association and looks like one who would leave by an external power out of the GFA.
The failure to grasp essential points in the AFCON qualifiers was not enough to propel them into progression as they adjusted to lower positions in the latest rankings.
