Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as "Cheddar," has urged the youth of Ghana to place the interest of the country above partisan politics. In a speech during a youth empowerment event in Accra, Bediako emphasized that young Ghanaians need to be thinking more about the good of the nation rather than being tied down by political party affiliations.

According to Bediako, political parties should not divide the youth but rather serve as channels for cooperation and national progress. He reiterated that although politics is part and parcel of Ghana's democratic processes, they should never override the collective challenge of building the country. "Ghana is bigger than any political party. It is our duty to prioritize the nation's progress over any temporary political differences," Bediako said.

The philanthropist noted that Ghana’s youth hold the key to the country's future, urging them to channel their energy into activities that foster unity, productivity, and long-term growth. He advised young Ghanaians to become actively involved in nation-building initiatives that transcend political affiliations and focus on improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation.

Bediako also spoke to the power of entrepreneurship and innovation in shaping the future of the country. He encouraged the youth to pursue business opportunities, emphasizing that one of the most effective ways to uplift the nation is through job creation and contribution to the economy. He told them that there was the need for a "mindset shift" where young people start to see themselves as problem-solvers and contributors to the national agenda.

The event was attended by hundreds of youth from different parts of the country and also witnessed speeches from other renowned leaders in the business and political spheres of Ghana. In fact, many of the youths present had shown their commitment to support national programs for the sake of a unified and prosperous Ghana.

What Nana Kwame Bediako said clearly was that the youths in Ghana must work together irrespective of political allegiance to help in repositioning the country into a model of success and development within the African continent.
