A former player of the porcupine warriors who plays as a right back naturally is on a mission to rejuvenate his carrier after his contract with Asante Kotoko was terminated some months ago. Augustine Agyapong is currently in Serbia and on trials with notable clubs like Red Star Belgrade to see if he'll get an opportunity to play for any club in Serbia.
Augustine who made a great impact in his first and second season for the club failed to do same in his third which made him fall out of favour of the hed coach and his assistants. We wish him good luck and hope he makes an impact where ever he plays. And also as he finds a new club for himself.
The third-place winners at this year’s National Statistical Data Hackathon who are students of Takoradi Technical University have presented their winning prize to the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun.
The Coding Ladies team who placed third at the National Statistical Data Hackathon competition were given a cheque for GH¢10,000 as their prize money.
The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun, while receiving them, congratulated the team and faculty members for their efforts and urged them to perform even better in their next competition.
"I told you that here we only accept the best, but third place is also good. However, since this will be an annual event, I want you to prepare early so that you will have enough time to practice. I know preparation is key, so with more effort, you will be the best. I wish you all the best, and we are grateful for this honour. All over the media, we are seeing Takoradi Technical University. I also want to thank the coaches and staff for preparing the students for this recognition. I pray that next year, you will come up on top," he urged.
The Coding Ladies expressed their appreciation to the University's management, Dean, Faculty members, and coaches for their support throughout the competition.
