Kuye Adegoke, a popular Nigerian content creator best known as Egungun of Lagos, has come out after a leaked video that has sparked widespread reactions on the internet.
The viral video, which has been circulating on social media shows that Egungun was on a video call with an anonymous lady while brushing his teeth. He was only wearing white shorts and during the call, he accidentally exposed his private parts.
The content creator's wife Pashotah, after disclosure of the incident has attempted to blackmail her husband using private videos.
According to Pashotah, a Snapchat user had screen-recorded a video Egungun intended to send her while travelling but inadvertently shared on his Snapchat story.
She had previously defended her husband and their marriage against these blackmail threats, asserting their unity despite the ordeal.
The new developments have sparked widespread internet criticism, with many questioning Egungun’s status as a family man and doubting Pashotah’s previous defence of their relationship.
Regardless of the backlash, Egungun remained Unperturbed, sharing a video on his Instagram to seemingly dismiss the controversy.
In the post, he is seen dancing energetically with a woman in his living room to the hit song "Gimme Love" by Zlatan and Olamide, offering a carefree response to the growing criticism. His actions have only fueled the ongoing online debate surrounding his personal life.

Egungun of Lagos began his content creation career in 2018. He started as a dancer in school, where he was initially recognised. His name "Egungun" came about, after wearing the Yoruba masquerade Egungun, and switching to informal interviews.
He is also known for his catchphrase, "Damn! It's a massive baby!" which became popular in Nigeria. During the period, he drew mainstream attention when Memezar, Snoop Dogg and Tunde Ednut reposted some of his videos on their social media handles.
