DIDDY ON IT AGAIN
Sean Diddy Combs has been accused of sexual battery by Bryana Bana Bongolan, who alleges that in September 2016, the music mogul dangled her over a 17-story balcony during an altercation at Cassie Ventura’s apartment. Bongolan, then an aspiring fashion designer, describes the incident as the culmination of a series of threats, intimidation, and violence she endured from Combs.
According to the lawsuit filed last week, Combs arrived at Ventura’s apartment on September 26, 2016, shouting and banging on the door. Bongolan, fearing his violent temper, instructed her then-girlfriend to hide in the bathroom. Once inside, Combs allegedly confronted Bongolan on the balcony, groped her, and lifted her onto the banister. She managed to pull herself back to safety, but Combs allegedly grabbed her again, leaving her life in his hands. Ventura intervened, prompting Combs to pull Bongolan back over the railing, only to slam her onto patio furniture.
The lawsuit claims Bongolan never understood what provoked Combs’ actions. It also highlights a broader pattern of abusive behavior, including instances where Combs allegedly appeared unannounced at Ventura’s home, prompting her to hide and remain silent. Bongolan alleges she witnessed Combs throw a kitchen knife at Ventura during one such visit.
This incident parallels an event described in Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit, which mentioned Combs dangling a friend over a balcony after a 2015 drug- and sex-fueled party, referred to as a freak-off. A source confirmed that Bongolan is the friend referenced in Ventura’s claim. Ventura’s lawsuit, which was settled a day after filing, was the first of over 30 civil complaints now filed against Combs, alongside an ongoing federal investigation.
In May 2023, surveillance footage showed Combs physically abusing Ventura in 2016, leading to his public apology. Combs admitted to seeking therapy and rehab, expressing regret for his actions while committing to self-improvement.
Combs’ attorneys have denied Bongolan’s allegations, stating he has unwavering faith in the judicial process and expects the claims to be proven baseless. Bongolan is seeking damages, citing a disturbing pattern of abuse that violated her safety and dignity. Ventura’s legal team has not commented on the recent lawsuit.
