Elsie Avemegah, the mother of Dancehall artist Shatta Wale, has strongly confronted his manager, Sammy Flex, over a controversy involving a house that was allegedly rented for her. In a leaked audio clip, which Sammy Flex has confirmed, Elsie Avemegah demands that Sammy Flex retract and apologize for what she calls false claims about a house being purchased for her.
In the audio, Elsie Avemegah expresses her frustration and anger, warning Sammy Flex to address the situation immediately. “Sammy Flex! I am calling you to warn you that if you don’t stop this nonsense, I am just on my way to Atiave, and I will deal with you,” she says. “You think I am one of those useless old women… Before I get to Atiave, if you do not come online and talk to the whole of Ghana and remove that thing from social media, you will regret knowing me. You will regret working with my son.”
Elsie then issues a three-day ultimatum, demanding that Sammy Flex publicly apologize, with the threat of serious consequences if her demands are not met.
In response, Sammy Flex addressed the controversy in a video posted on his YouTube channel on December 4. He explained that his original statement about the house was meant to counter rumors regarding Shatta Wale’s relationship with his mother. He noted that after Shatta Wale had been criticized for financially supporting a woman in Kumasi, people began questioning his support for his own mother. Sammy Flex emphasized that his announcement about the house was intended to highlight Shatta Wale’s care for his mother, despite the negative narratives.
To support his claims, Sammy Flex shared a video of Elsie Avemegah testifying in church, where she thanked Shatta Wale for purchasing the house for her. This video was meant to reinforce the idea that Shatta Wale had indeed provided for his mother, despite the controversy.
The ongoing exchange between Elsie Avemegah and Sammy Flex has intensified the drama surrounding Shatta Wale’s family, leaving fans curious about how the situation will develop.
