WITH JUST A DAY TO ELECTIONS; THE NPP STILL "RIDING ON A LION'S BACK"

As the saying goes, "riding on a lion's back" is a precarious endeavor that can end in disaster. This proverbial warning is particularly apt for political leaders like President Nana Akufo Addo and his vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia; who under their eight (8) year in government have engage in bad leadership, corruption, and reckless decision-making that leaves the nation in extreme hardship.

In recent times, we have witnessed a disturbing trend of  the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, led by Nana Addo and Bawumia, prioritizing their own family interests over the welfare of the Ghanaian people. They ride roughshod over the rights and dignity of their citizens, ignoring the growing hardship and frustration that simmers beneath the surface.

But, as the proverb warns, riding on a lion's back is a recipe for disaster. The lion, representing the collective power and fury of the people, will not be tamed forever. When the people rise up, as they inevitably will, the consequences for these reckless leaders will be severe.

The warning is clear...and the time has come: The Nana Addo- Bawumia team, who ride on the lion's back, ignoring the needs and dignity of the Ghanaians citizens, do so at their own peril. The people will not be silenced, and they will not be ignored. When the lion rises, it will be too late for these leaders to apologize or make amends.

As we move forward to a change in Ghana, we must demand more from our incoming leaders. We must hold them accountable for their actions, and we must ensure that they prioritize the needs and aspirations of the people. Anything less is a recipe for disaster, and a reckless disregard for the well-being of our citizens.

The choice is clear: leaders can either work for the people, or they can ride on the lion's back. But, as the proverb warns, the lion will not be tamed forever. It's time for our leaders to choose wisely, before it's too late.

The NPP's  goal is to share money during the elections to persuade people to vote for them. Ghanaians, especially young voters, must remember, that their powers to choose a person of choice is very expensive and cannot be bought so cheap by weak leaders. The constitution has given them the power to choose their leaders, and no amount of money must take that away.

The current government, led by Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia, is responsible for the poverty in Ghana. If Bawumia and the NPP has really performed as they claimed, why attempting to rig the election? Why are they sharing money to buy votes when they have truly performed?

Any money offered by the NPP campaign team is merely an attempt to deceive voters. Instead, voters should take the money and still vote against the NPP.

Also, It is clear, that Dr. Bawumia is being forced on Ghanaians by Nana Addo and the NPP, in other to cover up their corrupt activities. Nana Addo and his family are desperate to stay in power, as they fear facing jail time if another party takes over.

In light of this, it's essential for Ghanaians to consider supporting John Dramani Mahama and all the NDC parliamentary candidates across the country, and vote for them tomorrow 7 December 2024.
