As his team gets ready for the highly anticipated Super Clash against bitter rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday, December 15 at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is bursting with optimism.

With a decisive 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars on matchday 12, Kotoko enters the match, which is the first meeting between the two titans in the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season.

Coach Ogum emphasized his team's restored confidence and the good effects of the victory.

The players' confidence has increased as a result of this victory [against the Aduana Stars]. They think they can accomplish it now. They think it is possible now. We are heading into our next game [against Hearts of Oak] with a lot of optimism because it is something that can be accomplished," Ogum said.

He credited the victory with raising morale and inspiring players to put in more effort, and he also praised the positive environment during training sessions.

"People will be eager to put in more effort, and there will be a lot of enthusiasm and smiles during training. The most important thing for our upcoming game is that players will have more self-assurance and faith that we can succeed and that everything is possible," he continued.

With kickoff set for Sunday at 3:00 PM, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are both intensifying their preparations for what looks to be an exciting matchup.

Karim Zito, coach of Dreams FC, is confident before their matchup with Nsoatreman FC.

Before this weekend's play on matchday 13, Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito has issued a warning to Nsoatreman FC.

As the Ghana Premier League recovers, the Still Believe boys will visit the Amanaso-based team on Saturday at Nana Koramansah Park.

Karim Zito also stressed in his pregame remarks that his team will play with utmost seriousness as they strive for the most points possible.

"We can not afford to lose outdoors once more. After reviewing our games, we decided to quit criticizing the referees and focus on our own abilities.

"We shall pursue them. After Nsoatreman, we will face Kotoko, so we are not at all unwinding. We will not take this lightly because we are playing two difficult games in succession.

"At the same location, we had defeated them previously. We are accustomed to it and do not fear it.

In the Ghana Premier League rankings, Dreams FC is now in 15th place with just 11 points, while Nsoatreman is in 11th place with 13 points.
