Dance With a Purpose (DWP) Academy is gearing up to host an exciting week of events for their Afro Dance Culture 2024, running from Tuesday, December 17 to Monday, December 23. This 7-day celebration promises a many-sidedness of activities, which includes fitness sessions, dance workshops, auditions, philanthropy efforts, concerts, and fashion showcases.
The festivities will kick off on December 17 (Day 1) with a Health and Donation Walk, aimed at promoting fitness and supporting local communities. From December 18 to 20 (Days 2 to 4), dance enthusiasts can take part in classes from 3 to 7 p.m. at Untamed Empire, where they will experience the essence of Afro dance.
A major highlight of the week will be the DWP Concert on Saturday, December 21, at the Alliance Française Accra, offering an unforgettable night of music and dance. On December 22, the academy will host the final dance class, including auditions for those interested in joining the academy at Untamed Empire.
The grand finale of this 7-day extravaganza will be a landing strip show on Monday, December 23, at the Telande Tea Garden, where attendees will take into consideration an exhibition of the latest fashion trends.
