Charles Bissue lost to Professor Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with 17,754 votes to 26,166 votes. Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei lost her bid for the Okaikwei North parliamentary seat to NDC's Theresa Awuni, who secured 28,363 votes.
