According to Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ablorh, his team's forthcoming Ghana Premier League matchup against bitter rivals Hearts of Oak would be simple.

On Sunday afternoon, the Porcupine Warriors will meet the Phobians at Baba Yara Stadium on matchday 13 of the local top flight.

Given that both sides will be vying for the most points, it should be an exciting match.

Ablorh dismissed Hearts of Oak's attacking danger in his pregame remarks, claiming that the Porcupine Warriors would easily defeat Hearts of Oak.

"I am participating in the Ghana Premier League for the first time. It will be easy for me to play Hearts of Oak because I played challenging matches in Guinea.

"The game against Hearts of Oak will be simple. It is easy for me since I do not see any difficult strikers at Hearts, and I have played against good strikers abroad.

"To lift our spirits, I shall beg our supporters to come to the stadium in force. On Sunday, we will defeat Hearts of Oka. I have faith in my teammates.

Before the 2024–2025 season began, the 27-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors and made 11 appearances.

After 12 games this season, Asante Kotoko is presently in seventh place with 18 points, while Heart of Oak is in sixth place with 19 points.

The Black Princesses of Ghana have discovered their path to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland, where they hope to compete for the eighth time.

The Princesses will start their campaign in the second round of qualifiers after receiving a bye in the first round. They will play the winner of the match between Tunisia and Togo.

If they overcome this obstacle, the team will play South Africa or Eswatini in the third round of qualifying. If they win these games, Ghana will advance to the final round of the qualification process.

Even though the qualifiers start in May, Ghana will not start its adventure until September 2025.

Although they participated in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia, the Black Princesses were unable to make it past the group stage.

The group will be keen to put things right and aim for a successful performance in Poland.
