Joseph Ablorh, a defender for Asante Kotoko, is certain that his team will defeat bitter rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash.

On Sunday afternoon, matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League will see the Porcupine Warriors host the Phobians at Baba Yara Stadium.

Ablorh stressed in his pregame remarks that his team will defeat Hearts of Oak in order to earn as many points as possible at home.

"To lift our spirits, I shall beg our supporters to come to the stadium in force. On Sunday, we will defeat Hearts of Oak. I have faith in my teammates.

The former defender from Guinea, however, has minimized Hearts of Oak's attacking danger.

"I am participating in the Ghana Premier League for the first time. It will be easy for me to play Hearts of Oak because I played challenging matches in Guinea.

"The game against Hearts of Oak will be simple. It is easy for me since I do not see any difficult strikers at Hearts, and I have played against good strikers abroad.

Before the 2024–2025 season began, the 27-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors and made 11 appearances.

After 12 games this season, Asante Kotoko is presently in seventh place with 18 points, while Heart of Oak is in sixth place with 19 points.

The family of Ernest Nuamah watches as the winger shines in Lyon's Europa League triumph over Frankfurt.

When Olympique Lyonnais defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday night, Ernest Nuamah's family was present at the Groupama Stadium to witness him play.

In their attempt to advance to the competition's knockout stage, the hosts earned all three points at home thanks to a goal from Nuamah in the second half.

After scoring, the Right to Dream Academy alumnus gestured to his parents and siblings in the grandstand, pointing to the audience.

After a challenging season that nearly saw him go during the summer transfer window, it was his first goal of the year.

Because of their current financial situation, the French team has identified him as one of the players they will sell in the winter transfer window. Lyon's debt of more than 400 million euros led to its temporary demotion.

However, if they improve their financial state, the former Ligue 1 champions could be able to keep their top-flight standing.

Three Premier League teams have already expressed interest in signing Nuamah, with Crystal Palace the most recent to do so.

Galatasaray, a Turkish powerhouse, is reportedly drafting an offer for the winger as well.

Following a good loan stint the previous season, he joined Lyon from RWD Moleenbeck during the summer transfer window
