In their highly anticipated Week 13 matchup of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak's head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has voiced confidence in his team's ability to secure maximum points against archrivals Asante Kotoko.

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will host the Super Clash on Sunday, December 15 at 3 p.m. Both teams, who are not in the top four right now, are keen to win in order to improve their league positions.

Before the match, Coach Ouattara told Max TV that his team was very driven and committed to winning all three points. Additionally, he promised supporters that if victory is elusive, his squad will strive for at least a draw.

The goal of earning three or one point serves as motivation for my boys as well. Because of the clubs' names and histories, Kotoko vs. Hearts of Oak is a major game, according to Coach Ouattara.

The two most successful clubs in Ghana are hoping to rekindle their rivalry in the upcoming Super Clash, which is sure to be an exciting matchup.

Abdul Rahim Bashiru has been named Young Apostles FC's new head coach.

The Ghana Premier League newcomers had to fire seasoned coach Joseph Asare Bediako last month due to what is primarily characterized as subpar play following a very careless start to the season.

With 13 points and only three wins, four draws, and five losses in their first twelve games, the Yellow-Blues are now in 12th place on the league standings and have been extremely shaky so far in their first Premier League season.

A well-known figure in Ghanaian football, Abdul Rahim Bashiru was a valuable assistant coach for Great Olympics, Legon Cities FC, and Giants Hearts of Oak. After Dutch coach Martin Koopman was fired last year, Bashiru was promoted to interim head coach.

Given his prior expertise, he comes highly recommended and is anticipated to quickly fix any issues to get Young Apostles back on track when the league resumes play this weekend after a brief election break.

In the upcoming round of matches, they will visit Basake Holy Stars on Saturday, December 14 at the A.A.K II Sports Arena in Ampain.
