When Asante Kotoko plays Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, head coach Prosper Ogum has voiced confidence in his team's preparedness.
Ogum is confident in his team's readiness for the pivotal match despite a difficult run in which Kotoko has only won once in their last six league games.
"The boys, technical staff, and everyone else have a really upbeat attitude at training. As Ogum told 3Sports, "We are really poised." We are playing the game tactically based on our observations of their play, particularly when they are playing away. The players are psychologically, tactically, and physically ready for Sunday's match.
"The dynamics are always different when you look at games between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak," he said.
Kotoko will try to overcome their recent bad play and continue to dominate in this intense rivalry, while Hearts of Oak are on a roll and have won three of their past four league games with a draw.
