Stephen Manu, a former striker for Asante Kotoko, has lavished Albert Amoah with accolades for his performance as Man of the Match in the Super Clash.

After a defensive blunder between Hearts' defender Kelvin Osei Asibey and goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, the 22-year-old scored deep into injury time to win the Super Clash last Sunday and give his team the most points possible.

With seven goals from 12 games in the domestic top-flight season, Amoah, who joined the Porcupine Warriors from the Great Olympics in the summer, has already made an impression.

Speaking to Kessben FM, Manu said he was pleased with Amoah's performance and that he is a fighter.

"Albert Amoah is a capable goal scorer and a fighter. Although he missed many opportunities during the game, he had a strong will to battle. Kotoko's assault including Amoah and Kwame Poku will be lethal.

"I will give Kotoko a 60% rating. On a good day, they may score five or six goals in a game. He remarked, "I can see the team is gelling well now."

As he attempts to win the GPL Goal King accolade, Amoah will be trying to keep up his momentum.

With eight goals, Nations FC forward Faisal Charwetey tops the Premier League top scorers tally. Albert Amoah of Kotoko is next with seven goals.

Josh Acheampong expressed his happiness upon his new Chelsea deal by saying, "I am excited for this new journey."

Josh Acheampong, a Ghanaian defender who was born in England, has expressed his enthusiasm over agreeing to a new five-year contract with Chelsea.

After earlier fruitless discussions between the club and his representatives, the teenage sensation was on the point of leaving the club.

He did, however, receive a contract that lasted until the summer of 2029 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the club's youth and senior squads.

I am thrilled to share that I have agreed to a new deal with my boyhood club. I am eager for this new phase. The 18-year-old added, "It means so lot and I can not wait to continue this adventure."

Acheampong began his career at Stamford Bridge with the developmental team before moving up the levels to play for the U18, U21, and most recently the first team.

He has been a regular on Enzo Maresca's team sheet since making his senior debut against Tottenham.

He was the highlight of the Blues' match against Astana, which helped the London team advance to the competition's knockout stage.

Acheampong is still eligible to play for Ghana's Black Stars, although he has played for England at the underage level, including at the 2022 U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
