Albert Amoah, a forward for Asante Kotoko, has praised head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum for elevating his game and claiming that his coaching has helped him become a better player.

The 22-year-old has scored seven goals in 12 appearances in the Ghana Premier League since joining the Porcupine Warriors from Great Olympics in the summer.

After a defensive blunder between Hearts' defender Kelvin Osei Asibey and goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, Amoah scored late into injury time to win the Super Clash last Sunday and give his team the most points possible.

The Porcupine Warriors have benefited much from the enterprising attacker, who has given Ogum credit for his enhanced play.

Since I never considered playing for Kotoko, I will thank Coach Ogum. I was a midfielder when he (Ogum) coached me at the SHS during regionals. We have been friends for a very long time. Ogum signed me to Kotoko because he was aware of my potential. I promised not to disappoint him. He has consistently pushed me during training, and it is working for me," he remarked.

As he attempts to win the Ghana Premier League goal king accolade, Amoah will be trying to keep up his momentum.

Ghana FA asks for patience as the Black Stars technical team makes a decision.

After the Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is currently in the last phases of talks over the team's coaching staff.

Talks with important parties, such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, are continuing and should soon come to an end, according to GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum.

Asante Twum clarified in an interview with Peace FM that "these consultations often take a while, especially when the government is engaged." "To wrap things up, the Executive Council will convene again next week after holding many meetings. As the council is ready to make an official pronouncement, I ask everyone to exercise patience.

"Any changes circulating are personal thoughts rather than official decisions," he said, dismissing media speculation. "Council members feel the public's disappointment because they are people. The subject was sent to the Ministry for more input because this process necessitates thorough review.
