I have never left a man because he cheated on me, Tiwa admitted candidly. I’ve left due to so many other reasons like drug abuse, emotional abuse, and being ghosted, but not infidelity.

I’ve been cheated on before. I found out and forgave every time. Every man I’ve ever been with has cheated, and I’ve never left them because of it. Cheating is not my hill, she shared.
Tiwa, however, emphasized that her tolerance does not extend to other harmful behaviors. For her, dishonesty, disrespect, abuse, and theft are absolute deal-breakers. While I can overlook cheating, I can’t tolerate dishonesty, disrespect, abuse, or stealing. Those are the things that cross the line for me, she clarified.
Reflecting on societal norms, Tiwa argued that infidelity has always been part of relationships, dating back to historical and even biblical times. I know you say it’s bad that we’ve gotten to a point where cheating isn’t a deal-breaker. But I feel like we’ve always been here—even back in the day, even going back to the Bible and history, she explained.
