"TRACEY BOAKYE BREAKS DOWN OVER KYEKYEKU'S UNGRATEFULNESS AND MISTREATMENT"

Kumawood actor Sumsum Ahoufe has publicly voiced his displeasure with his colleague, Tracey Boakye, following her recent comments about actor Kyekyeku. Sumsum expressed his dissatisfaction with Tracey’s decision to publicly share details of the financial assistance she had provided to Kyekyeku, which included mentioning the $2000 she gave him during a time when he was struggling financially. He argued that Tracey had no right to reveal such personal acts of charity and that doing so appeared to be an attempt to humiliate Kyekyeku.

Sumsum’s criticism comes on the heels of an ongoing series of public controversies surrounding Tracey Boakye, with many of her critics accusing her of seeking attention through dramatic public displays. The recent incident is not an isolated one; it follows a pattern of behavior where Tracey has made personal matters public in a way that has sparked debate. In this case, Tracey posted on social media, accusing Kyekyeku of being ungrateful despite the help she offered him when he was financially struggling. She explained how, at a time when Kyekyeku was broke, she gave him $2000, but when she later reached out to him for help, he refused to support her. This prompted her to express her frustration on her social media platform.

However, Sumsum Ahoufe found Tracey’s decision to take her personal grievances to social media unnecessary and inappropriate. He pointed out that there is no need to publicize acts of kindness or financial assistance, as many people in the world help others without making it a public spectacle. According to him, such actions should be carried out with discretion and humility, rather than being used as a tool for public validation. He emphasized that charitable acts should remain private and not used as a way to gain attention or settle personal scores.

Sumsum’s stance highlights the broader issue of celebrity culture in Ghana, where personal lives and acts of generosity are often broadcasted for public consumption. He advised Tracey Boakye to reconsider her approach to charity and to keep such matters private in the future. While Tracey may have intended to highlight her generosity, Sumsum believes her actions may have inadvertently caused more harm than good, by adding to the ongoing public drama surrounding her personal life.
