Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has stated that his team will make a lot of signings during the January transfer window to win the Ghana Premier League again, which they have not done in three years.

After a significant victory over rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash over the weekend, the Porcupine Warriors are now only three points behind league leaders Heart of Lions.

To increase their prospects of winning, Kotoko is planning to make several significant additions to its squad.

"There are a lot," said head coach Ogum, who expressed confidence in the team's objectives. If all goes according to plan, there will be a lot of signings. After a great deal of conversation, we are certain that we will receive them.

"We are praying and hoping that things will change, and even if they do, they will work out well for us so we can strengthen the team."

The club started its recruitment efforts by bringing Kwame Opoku on as a free transfer, which was their first signing in anticipation of the challenges ahead.

I will be at the Accra Sports Stadium to support Black Galaxies vs Nigeria, Abedi Pele.

Legendary football player Abedi Ayew Pele has committed to attend the 2024 CHAN Qualifiers to cheer for the Black Galaxies against Nigeria at the Accra Sports Stadium.

On Sunday, November 22, 2024, Ghana will play the home-based Super Eagles in the first leg of the playoffs. A week later, Ghana will travel to Nigeria for the second match.

Abedi Pele's Nania FC played the Black Galaxies in a friendly match in Prampram before the pivotal encounter, which the Galaxies won.

After the game, the Ghanaian icon spoke to the players, telling them that he would be at the stadium this weekend and that he was confident they could defeat Nigeria.

He declared, "I will make sure to be there to support you at the Accra Sports Stadium first."

That is something I have never done. Even though there are too many invitations, I usually strive to stay away from them. However, this time, I will be present, supporting you, and watching you through the procedure."

This is a replay after Ghana defeated Nigeria in the 2022 playoffs to earn a spot.
