LeBron James etched his name into NBA history once again on Friday, setting the record for the most minutes played in league history. During the Los Angeles Lakers' 113-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings, James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's long-standing record, completing his 57,447th minute on the court. The 39-year-old also contributed 19 points to the Lakers' win, with Austin Reaves leading the team with a standout performance of 25 points. Reflecting on his achievement, James credited his success to his unwavering commitment to the game. He stated, "It’s just a commitment to the craft and to the passion and love I have for the game," acknowledging that while he now spends more time resting in the offseason, his dedication remains constant.

In other NBA action, Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton found himself ejected from the game after an outburst in his team's 101-94 win over the Toronto Raptors. Frustrated by a foul while driving to the basket, Claxton threw a ball into the crowd, prompting officials to escort him off the court. Meanwhile, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls had an exceptional performance, scoring a season-high 36 points, including six three-pointers, to help his team secure a 117-108 victory over the defending champions, the Boston Celtics. LaVine also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in the win, marking the Bulls' third consecutive victory. LaVine’s offensive brilliance was a key factor in the Bulls' continued success.

Elsewhere, several other players showcased their skills. French phenom Victor Wembanyama delivered an impressive 42 points to guide the San Antonio Spurs to a 133-126 overtime win over the Atlanta Hawks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also starred in his own right, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 105-99 victory over the Orlando Magic with 35 points. Other teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks, and Houston Rockets also recorded wins, adding to the excitement of another action-packed night in the NBA. Despite the standout performances across the league, it was LeBron James' record-breaking moment that captured the most attention, adding yet another incredible milestone to his already legendary career.
