Bukayo Saka Ruled Out for Weeks with Hamstring Injury

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that star winger Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for several weeks following a hamstring injury sustained during Arsenal's dominant 5-1 win over Crystal Palace. The 23-year-old, who has been instrumental for the Gunners this season with nine goals and 13 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions, left Selhurst Park on crutches after the match. Arteta described the situation as "not looking good" and expressed that the team would use this time to support Saka’s recovery.

Arteta acknowledged the challenge of coping without one of his key players but emphasized the team’s resilience, having already managed without captain Martin Odegaard earlier in the season. The coach hinted at strategizing to fill Saka’s absence while pointing out the need to evaluate ways to prevent similar injuries in the future. He revealed that Saka was emotional upon learning the extent of his injury, showing the player’s passion and dedication to the game.
