The highly anticipated Made in Taadi Concert, spearheaded by renowned Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata, made a spectacular comeback after a two-year hiatus, drawing an unprecedented crowd of over 40,000 fans at the Jubilee Grounds in Takoradi. The event, sponsored by Enterprise Life, seamlessly combined entertainment and youth empowerment, cementing its reputation as one of Ghana’s most impactful annual celebrations.
The festivities began on Friday, December 20, 2024, with a youth seminar at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel, themed ‘Bridging the Gap – From Dreams to Reality.’Over 1,000 participants, including students and industry players, benefited from inspiring sessions by distinguished speakers such as Philip Osei Bonsu, Wilson Arthur, Kwame Adu Mante, Pamela Arvoh-Mensah, and Fiifi Buckman. Discussions centered on practical tools to achieve aspirations, with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) team leading a session on safe and regular migration.
On Saturday, December 21, 2024, the main concert kicked off at the Takoradi Sports Club with a meet-and-greet session at 3:00 PM, followed by thrilling performances beginning at 7:00 PM. Over 20 emerging artists warmed up the massive crowd before electrifying performances from headline acts like Eno Barony, Samini, Beeztrap KOTM, Donzy, Lasmid, Abochi, Nemesis Loso, and Orkortor Perry. Fans were treated to surprise appearances by Fameye and Kwaw Kese, whose impromptu performances added extra excitement to the night.
The concert extended into a remarkable 12-hour music marathon, ending at 7:21 AM on Sunday, December 22. Fans lauded Kofi Kinaata for delivering a flawlessly organized event that combined top-tier entertainment with meaningful engagement for the youth.
