A group of executives from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region reportedly raided the home of Eric Kusi Junior, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Adansi North, located in Kuna near Fomena. The executives stormed the residence to seize 1,015 bags of fertilizer, a move that was confirmed by Nana Amankwah Prempeh, the Deputy Operations Commander for the NDC. He stated that the group received information that the fertilizers were stored at the DCE's home and acted accordingly to investigate the matter and take appropriate action. The incident has sparked significant attention and raised questions about the reasons behind the storage of such a large quantity of fertilizer in a private home.

Eric Kusi Junior, in response to the raid, admitted that the fertilizers were indeed kept at his residence but clarified that they did not belong to him personally. According to the DCE, the 1,015 bags of fertilizer were owned by Lawyer Andrew Amoako Asiamah, the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Fomena.
