Asante Kotoko wants more, Francis Acquah of bechem United is the next transfer target.
Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have expressed a strong interest in signing Bechem United's left-back, Francis Acquah , in the ongoing transfer window.
This move is part of Kotoko's efforts to bolster their squad for the second round of the Ghana Premier League. Francis Acquah has been impressive for Bechem United in the ongoing league, delivering standout performances that have earned him a lot of MVP awards and also a call up to the Galaxies.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko believes Acquah arrival will significantly enhance their team and boost their chances of competing for the Premier League title.
Behind-the-scenes negotiations are currently underway, with both clubs working towards reaching a mutually beneficial agreement. If successful, Francis Acquah is expected to sign a three-year contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko. But the only thing that makes this transfer difficult is the fact that Bechem would ask for a higher transfer fee that many Ghanaian clubs find difficult to bear. Especially at the moment where the porcupines would like to sign about 6 players in the January transfer window.
In other sad news the multi million Saglima housing project caught fire some few hours ago on the eve of Christmas 2024 where lots of allegations have been sent out already through people who think they know the actors of this particular act. A few weeks ago whistle blowers made it known that there would be bad and unfortunate things that may happen in the coming days until the day when power is fully transitioned to the new government. For many reasons it is sad it is sad that this can happen with less than a week to enter the new year, especially when nothing of this sought had happened to project for the past eight years of the ruling government. Many souls think it is an attack on the new people coming to take over but we wait for further investigation, as the fire fighters were able to stop it from going to the buildings.
