THOMAS PARTEY CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH HIS LOVELY FAMILY

featured img

The captain of the senior national team the black Stars of Ghana, Thomas Teye Partey celebrates his first Christmas with his family in London, he posted this on his socials on Christmas Day. The man who birth his first child earlier this year, has one way or the other change how he communicates on social media, even when the daughter is in the picture her identity or face is not shown. This has happened in many photos she has been present in, And once again Christmas did not give an opportunity to show the face of the lovely baby girl.

The controversial thing Mohamed Kudus is doing and there is a certain traditional or cultural meaning to stools just like the elephant stool used by the West Ham and Ghana star. The Asantehene, possessor of the most powerful stool in Akan history (Golden Stool or sika dwa) also has the elephant stool and the leopard stool .The elephant stool per my checks denotes supremacy and is universally seen as a symbol of power and strength in Asante culture. Digging beyond Akan culture shows that the elephant is also seen as a symbol of good fortune in a branch of the broader Indian culture. In today's world, stools are not strictly seen just as traditional and cultural symbols.

There is a wide usage of stools in the arts and entertainment sector to serve various roles.I think Kudus picked his stool with no specific intent to troll or taunt any political party as FIFA does not even permit such. Let's stop linking his celebration to political meanings before we land him in trouble. The player might have wanted to display one of Ghana’s cultural symbols knowingly or unknowingly and let us stick to that.Praise him for projecting a symbol of our rich culture and tradition instead of sensationally linking it to partisan politics. Basically there is nothing to fear about
