I am the King’s Bride.
Here’s a story of a small boy who was born into a very poor home. His Parents were from a very unpopular town and clan. It was known by everyone who lived at that time that nothing good ever came out of that town. His parents were also not rich, they were poor with just a meager work that produced something little to fend for the family.
Even though very poor, they loved and cherished God and trained up this small boy into serving and loving God as well. They always took the young boy to the house of God and also to observe all the Godly festivals and periods as prescribed by their ancestors who also obeyed God.
This young boy built up a robust love for God personally, knowing that God was the holder of his future. Yes, though his parents introduced him to God and tried to groom him up in Him, he took it upon himself to personally know God and to personally love Him. He upheld the things of God and grew up loving the Father very much. He took God as his Father and source and everything. He grew up loving to please God than to please man. The zeal for house of God consumed him. He’ll sometimes go and spend days in the house of God without his parents’ knowledge; acquiring knowledge and growing up in wisdom in the Lord. He found the light and held on to it. He made the word of God his map and weapon. He signed up to daily prayers. There was never a day that he didn’t go to the father to hear and communicate with him. This became his daily routine. God became his source and hope for the uncertain future.
Finally, this young boy grew in wisdom and in stature. In the process of his growth and consistency with The Father, he discovered his purpose in life. Eureka🎊.
He held on to this great discovery and revelation. He purported in his heart to accomplish this to bring glory to God. He worked tirelessly, no procrastinations at all. He run with the vision. It became his main focus. His main desire was to accomplish the task revealed onto him by the Father.
This poor timid unpopular boy who was uncertain about what the future held found his purpose in God.
He went about doing the work of God entrusted onto him. The people doubted him. Some scoffed him, others ridiculed him while some discouraged and lied about him. But as far as he heard God’s voice for himself, he held on to it and gave no attention to the external voices. He built up zeal and confidence and strength in the Lord. He addressed the people squarely where the need be. They even marveled at his authority and confidence, because they knew him and saw him when he was growing up. This poor timid and “good for nothing” boy has suddenly become more powerful (so they thought but they did not know it when he kept developing himself in the secret place). The main drive and decree of this young man for life was to do the work of God revealed and entrusted onto him and to finish it.
Oh Yes, he did. He fully obeyed the voice of God and did just as he was told to do. He was obedient till death. He became very popular, doing great things that no one ever heard. Great men went to see him for wisdom nuggets. He had a very great audience. Men from all across the globe were seeking after his knowledge. He also discovered that he had the likeness of God; God created him in His own image so he was fully God. But he never let any of these get into his head to make him pompous. He never became proud in the course of his accomplishments. He intentionally took the form of a servant to keep him in check. He never thought of going back to prove to the people who once doubted, looked down on him and treated him bad that he too has now become somebody. He stayed very humble and obedient to God and the results; God elevated him so high and gave him a position that He has never given to anyone since the inception of age. A name above all other names such that at the name of Jesus, every knee bows.
Jesus was FULLY MAN and fully God. This is the human path of Christ. This could be you too. Current state, bad, future, bleak. Follow the steps of Christ. Look onto Jesus, He’s the author and finisher of your faith. He’s walked this path of life before and has set the most perfect example that we can look up to. If you follow his steps, your story will be changed, you’ll become the light that shinneth in this dark age and all will come to the dawning of your light.
As you celebrate this festive season, know that Christ is the reason for celebration. Model your path after his and you will live a successful and fulfilling life. Merry Christmas.
