The wide spread rumour that Salifu Ibrahim Di Maria formerly of Techiman Eleven wonders and Accra Hearts Of Oak who now plays for Drita Football club in Kosovo is totally false. I would like to use this opportunity to shed more lights on the issue. So we all know that many European leagues go on some two to three weeks break during Christmas especially the leagues that are not really popular in main stream Europe. That why Salifu is back home to spend some good time with his family and loved ones. Note that the next break would be after the season has ended some where late May. So it's good he comes home to check up on His special Ones. Per reports he is said to have a good opposite relationship back home here. So all this comes to play.

So now let us talk a bit about all the genesis of the speculation. Because Salifu is a lover of the Ghana Premier League and Ghana football at large he was at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to watch a match and after that he came across Interim management committee chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and had to exchange pleasantries with him. Note that before the move to Drita Football club the porcupine warriors were interested in signing him. But due to lots of reasons, from financial to spiritual and many more, the young man chose to move outside and come back in the future if time pleases. Please get to know that the young man has signed more than two years contract in Kosovo and is not ready to leave as per reports the club is also happy with his output. He has played about fourteen matches for them in the first half which is good for a new player like him, adding a goal and an assist to his credit.  Another thing is that a player who is cool with his foreign contract would not opt to come home with the state of our football ecosystem.
