Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, has vowed to rededicate himself to serving the nation and advancing democracy if confirmed as Speaker of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
His renewed commitment comes after President-elect John Dramani Mahama instructed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Leadership to nominate Bagbin for the Speaker position.
