Juventus are reportedly plotting a double raid on Manchester United in the January transfer window, targeting two out-of-favour stars on loan. The Italian giants have slipped to fifth in Serie A and are eager to bolster their squad to revive their title hopes.

According to reports, Juventus have set their sights on Manchester United duo, Donny van de Beek and Eric Bailly. Both players have struggled to establish themselves in Erik ten Hag's starting lineup, and a loan move to Juventus could provide them with the opportunity to revive their careers.

Van de Beek, in particular, has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Juventus reportedly keen to sign him on a six-month loan deal. The Dutch midfielder has made just six appearances for Manchester United this season, and a move to Juventus could provide him with the playing time he needs to regain his confidence.

Bailly, on the other hand, has been plagued by injuries since joining Manchester United in 2016. The Ivorian defender has made just 113 appearances for the Red Devils, and a loan move to Juventus could provide him with the opportunity to prove his fitness and form.

Juventus are believed to be willing to cover the wages of both players, which could make the deal more attractive to Manchester United. The Italian giants are also reportedly willing to include an option to buy in the loan deal, which could provide Manchester United with a potential windfall in the summer.

While Manchester United are unlikely to stand in the way of the duo's departure, they may demand that Juventus pay a significant loan fee to take the players off their hands. The Red Devils are also likely to insist that the loan deal includes a recall clause, which would allow them to bring the players back to Old Trafford if needed.

As the January transfer window heats up, it remains to be seen whether Juventus will be able to persuade Manchester United to part with two of their out-of-favour stars. However, one thing is certain - the Italian giants are desperate to strengthen their squad and revive their title hopes.
