AKWA IBOM HOSTS INFERNO RUNWAY: MR AND MISS NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL EVENT

The pageantry world experienced an exciting transformation with the rebranding of Mr. and Miss Nigeria International into Inferno Runway: Mr. and Miss Nigeria International, a pioneering blend of beauty, glamour, and fashion design.

A statement shared with Saturday Beats highlighted that this groundbreaking evolution marked the first pageant to incorporate a fashion design reality show, creating new opportunities for creatives to showcase their talents.


The 2024 edition, held in Akwa Ibom State, not only crowned the traditional pageant titleholders but also celebrated its inaugural fashion designer champion, Joel Thomas, whose remarkable designs captivated both judges and the audience.


This rebrand, led by the New York-based entertainment company FE TV HUB, owned by American producer Bob Cal, aligns with their mission to create global opportunities for emerging talents. "Our partnership with Brendan Nsikak and Inferno Runway is about breaking barriers and enabling talent from emerging markets like Nigeria to shine on the world stage," said a company representative.


Founder Brendan Nsikak emphasized, "This marks an exciting new chapter where creativity meets glamour. We are proud to be the first to merge pageantry with fashion design in a way that redefines the possibilities for both industries."


The rebranding was brought to life through a collaboration with FE TV HUB, showcasing Nigeria’s creative potential. The winners of this year's event are set to gain international exposure, including a debut appearance at Brooklyn Fashion Week.


Meanwhile, in Nigeria, beauty pageants have evolved into a dynamic fusion of cultural expression, creativity, and knowledge exchange, bringing together men and women from diverse ethnic backgrounds.


With a focus on celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, Brendance and Crusader Limited recently hosted the grand finale of the Mr. and Miss Nigeria International Pageant 2024 in Uyo, drawing thousands of Nigerians to witness the event.  This helps to encourage the youth to learn more about their culture
