Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang made history on January 7, 2025, as she was sworn in as Ghana's first female Vice President. These included the introduction of the Progressive Free Senior High School (SHS) Policy, the expansion of the School Feeding Programme, and the establishment of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). Her efforts had a significant impact on education in Ghana, and she has received numerous awards and honors for her contributions to education, literature, and public service.
