Drama Looms As Group Rejects Outcome Of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo President General Election
The Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC) has rejected the outcome of the Ohaneze Ndigbo President General election held in Enugu. The group accused Southeast governors of manipulating the process, leading to the emergence of Senator John Azuta Mbata as the new leader of the pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization.
According to the IMC, the Southeast governors conspired to keep the venue of the election secret, and had warned prior that the governors were planning to install a Senator from Rivers State.
